Interested in Verbotics Weld? Download a free trial version of our software and use these guides to get started planning welds. Our trial version will let you import your parts and plan your welds in one of our sample work cells. If you think our solution is right for your needs get in contact with us to discuss purchasing a copy. If you have any issues, comments, or feedback we'd love to hear how we can improve our software.
Importing a Work Cell
The first step to using our software is to import a work cell. To get started, you can use one of our sample work cell files. Once imported you will be able to start a new project in the work cell.
Work cell files contain the visual, kinematic, and collision information about a robot welding system. Please contact us if you would like to explore creating a work cell file for your welding cell.
Here is a quick walkthrough to show the workflow through Verbotics Weld. The general steps are:
- Start a new project.
- Import your part.
- Detect the welds from your part.
- Create weld settings and apply settings to the welds.
- Plan your welds.
- Generate code (not available in trial version).
Our software is simple and fast to use, but welding can be complex and there are a lot of settings that you can choose to tweak and perfect your welds. This information is not lost - create a template so all future projects have a head start.
